Just like in other others life during the 1700's was not at all an easy life for folks. There were many different kinds of hardships which the folks had to endure in their daily lives.

Back in September of 2010 I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with some mighty fine folks. Let me tell you these folks are mighty kind and sure do go out of their way to help others, and they sure do enjoy bring History to life for others to enjoy.
(Amos Morrill's Tombstone)

I got to meet Bruce Morrill who is the Captain and starter of the outstanding Captain Morrill's Company of Colonial Re-Enactment Group, plus members of both his mighty fine family and members of his Re-Enacting Company. Our Re-Enactment group is based in Franklin, New Hampshire. Folks I sure can tell you that Bruce really cares. Our group does both French and Indian War and Revolutionary War Re-Enactments.

Revolutionary War Re-Enactment Company New Hampshire, folks the Captain Morrill's Company has been based on an actual American Revolutionary Militia Unit which its roots and became alive in the Town of Epsom, New Hampshire. This Militia Unit of Epsom was first known as the Captain Andrew McClary's Company. Captain McClary ended-up giving up his life during the Battle which took place at Bunker Hill. After that happening, Amos Morrill was promoted to the rank of Captain and the Unit became the Captain Morrill's Company.

Folks Captain Amos Morrill was with Ethan Allen during the taking of Ticonderoga and was one of the eight men who were sent into the enemy's camp at night and demanded them to surrender, in the name of Jehovah and the Continental Army. In the year of our Lord 1793 Captain Amos Morrill left the Town of Epsom, New Hampshire taking his wife, two daughters and four sons and settled in the Northern part of Vermont in the Town of St. Albans.

The Company was re-form in-order for those Patriotic Citizens who enjoy the mighty fine hobby of Re-Enacting Colonial Life of the Eighteenth Century. Our Company's purpose is to bring History to life so the folks of today can enjoy learning and to instill the sense of our past in School Kids that they too might retain a better sense of our Heritage which was won upon the different 1700's Battlefields by our Ancestors.

Folks I made this below short video at the Captain Morrill's Company camp during a weekend Special Revolutionary War Encampment which took place in September of 2010. It was also during this event which I first meet Bruce Morrill, some of his family and some of the members of this outstanding Re-Enactment Company and group of folks.

Both the Re-Enactment groups and the folks which attended this event sure did have a mighty enjoyable time. Not only did the folks get to watch battles they also got to visit the different camps and talk with the Re-Enactors
