There might be some folks which don't know the Pickleball game, just like this here ole Cowboy sure had not ever heard of it before. So I looked up some info on the game to add here in my blog post of this upcoming event to be held in the Town of New London, New Hampshire

Will folks pickleball is a racquet sport which two or four players which each use a solid wood paddle or a some other kind of composite material to hit a polymer perforated ball over a net. It was said this here game started back during the Summer of 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington at the home of Washington State Representative Joel Pritchard.


Pickleball Event New London Merrimack County New Hampshire, himself and two of his friends come back home after a morning of playing golf and found that their families were bored that Saturday afternoon. Will they attempted to set up badminton for all to enjoy playing but the shuttlecock could not be found anywhere. 

So they improvised with a wiffle ball fabricated paddles of plywood from a nearby shed and lowered the badminton net. Some folks say the name Pickleball was derived from the Pritchard family dog, which was Pickles.

Mark this event of Pickleball on your calendar which has been scheduled to take place on Saturday the Ninth day of August 2014 and its been scheduled to be held between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. Folks this event is for both those which are beginners and experienced players and open to player which are 13 to 93 years of age. They say to be sure to bring along your sneakers.

This event of Pickleball will be taking place at the New London Outing Club Tennis Courts, and in the case of rain the event will take place in the New London Middle School Gym, which is located at 191 Parkside in New London, New Hampshire.

    I have played many sports but I an unfamiliar with Pickleball. Sounds interesting. I gave up tennis years ago due to shoulder issues and serving the ball.
