Fourth of July Watermelon Race in Sunapee New Hampshire

There sure is a whole lot of fun going to be going on in the Town of Sunapee, New Hampshire on both Friday the Fourth of July and Saturday the Fifth of July 2014. You sure will want to check out what is going to be going on for folks to enjoy!

Wow folks have you ever attended a Watermelon Race on the Fourth of July? Will you sure can if you go to Burkehaven Hill in Sunapee and attending the Second Annual Watermelon Race. Did I hear some of you ask how do you race a watermelon? 

Will folks you take a watermelon, add a couple of axels to it and wheels (which can be any size) then enjoy decorating your watermelon race car and then you'll be ready to race it down Burkehaven Hill! There are categories and prizes for all age groups. It sure is also mighty fine to watch if you did not make a watermelon race car.


Fourth of July Watermelon Race in Sunapee New Hampshire, on Saturday the Fifth of July 2014 folks will be able to enjoy even more activities. A Parade has been scheduled to start at High Noon, the paraders will start lining up at 11:00 A.M. The theme for this year's Independence Day Parade is Superheroes.

After the Parade, Firemen's Day has been scheduled to take place at Veterans Field, which includes Games, there will be a Craft Fair, Food plus Inflatables.

Then at the Sunapee Harbor at dusk you will be able to enjoy watching an outstanding Fireworks Display. Folks this Fireworks Display is made possible because of $12,000.00 in donations made by good folks and businesses.
