Folks America's Letter Carriers in communities from South to North East to West besides here in the City of Claremont will be collecting food for families which are in need of good healthy food to eat in their household.
This year's event has been scheduled to take place on Saturday the Ninth day of May 2015 in the City of Claremont, New Hampshire.
Folks its easy for you to help this food collecting event to be a big success in-order to help families which are in need!
Collect non-perishable food items and put them in a bag. Place your bag or bags by your mailbox for your Letter Carrier to pick up and deliver to a local Food Bank or Food Pantry.
Are you up to the task of being part of helping to Stamp Out Hunger?
You are asked to please not include any items which are Expired or that are in a Glass Container.
The following is a list of some food items to put in your bag or bags:
- Canned Fish
- Canned Meat
- Canned Vegetables
- Cereals
- Juice
- Pasta
- Peanut Butter
- Rice
- Soup
- Tea Bags
