Folks the Historical Society of the Town of Charlestown invite you to start visiting the Historic Little Red Schoolhouse the beginning of next week!
The actual opening date to be able to visit has been set to be Sunday the Twenty Fourth day of May 2015.


Folks you can visit this Little Red Schoolhouse which was built back in 1774 and was used for the education of the Children of the Town of Charlestown, New Hampshire until the year of 1928. The hours of the opening day event has been scheduled to be between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. on Sunday the Twenty Fourth.

You'll find that this Historic Little Red Schoolhouse remains much the same as it was during its earliest days and preserves a way of life of rural education which has now largely vanished for the most part. The cost of visiting the Schoolhouse is Free of charge. There will be a guide present in-order to answer questions which you might have.
