Social Media Sites and You as an Information giver and Meeting Others

Folks this blog post contains a few different aspects for you to think about and some of my own experience of being part of Social Media, when it comes to Social Media Sites on the Internet. Folks have you taken the time to look at what Social Media is?

Many folks seem to think that the actual definition of  Social Media is having to be part of a big site which is solely set-up to be a Social Media Site. The following is the way which I look it upon and to give my view of what it relates for folks.

Lets start out by breaking to the two words apart. Social which sure implies that we will be sharing such items as files, ideas, taste and even opinions all at the same time which brings about interactions between both individuals and groups of folks.

Social Media Sites and You as an Information giver plus Meeting Others, folks now for Media, which tells us we'll be posting our publications to digital places.

As you can see from the above, for you to take part in Social Media. As long as you are gathering individuals which have a thirst for knowledge to visit and read the information which you publishing even if its your own standalone blog like a Google Blogger or WordPress blog just to name a couple of sites, you and the folks which are visiting your information are actually interacting as a Social Media Site.

      

Being a member of a Social Media Site sure is a mighty fine way to reach and meet-up with many different folks which are located all over the World, that you might not have ever came along. It sure can be fun and its sure a mighty fine way for you to create a Internet community for folks to be a part of when getting started in being a part of Social Media, but folks do take the time to set up your own blog and post the information which you are wanting to share with other folks on your standalone blog first. (I'll be covering more about in another blog post later on).

Folks one of the first things to understand and more than likely your Mom or Dad told you at least once sometime in your life "Choose your friends wisely!" folks not only is that true in real life, it sure does also hold true when it comes to Social Media Sites and your real success on them. Just like back when you were in School, just because someone is popular does not at all mean they are a good choose or fit for you to become friends with.

You sure do also want to remember just like in real life you'll end-up coming along folks which are Bullies, Jerks and other folks which take enjoyment in telling non true stories and spreading rumors about other members of the site, for many different reasons.

You'll sure also come along some folks which seem to think they have the right to dictate to others that they are not blogging the right way, but don't do it in a helpful way. There are even some which takes on the role of picking apart the writing style of others and even think they are the grammar and spelling police. Its one thing if they send a private message saying that the writer might want to take a look at a word within their blog post.

Social Media Sites and You as an Information giver plus Meeting Others, but there are some which take on the role of a Bully by leaving a nasty comment on the writers blog post, then there are others which go about showing they are a Bully by writing and posting their own blog post to point out about a member's post which they came along that they think the post is badly written or something else is wrong with the post and that other members of the site and the public should boycott that bloggers blog. 

Folks just like back in School it was not a good idea to blindly follow the so called in-crowd, the some sure does hold true when it comes to being part of a Social Media Site. All of our social life matures over time no matter our age, we begin to realize that our definition of desirable social life is not the same for everyone. Be your own person, don't let others Bully you and please don't Bully others in any fashion!

Folks there sure are a whole lot of different kinds Social Media Sites to pick from to be a member of out there in Internetland that is for sure. The subject of Social Media Sites sure can end-up making ones head spin just like a top once its loose from the string. One thing which you sure want to take the time to remember, you sure don't want to put all your eggs into one basket when it comes to being part of Social Media Networking, and that's for sure! 

There sure is something to be said about not putting all your eggs into one basket where anything is concerned and Social Media Sites ranks right at the top of the list. There is no way I can write even a little bit about every Social Media Site out there to use, so below you find some info about four different ones.

Folks here is an aspect to take into consideration, think back to and it really was not all that long go that MySpace was looked upon it being the site to be on. It sure is not the case now a days, it was even sold off to Specific Media LLC and Justin Timberlake.

MySpace was overtaken by Facebook in the number of unique Worldwide visitors and was pasted up in the number of unique U.S. visitors back in May of 2009. Even though MySpace actually was able to generate $800 Million in revenue during the fiscal year of 2008, the number of MySpace users has been steadily declining even though its under gone several redesigns. MySpace as of May 2014 was only raked at 982 by Worldwide total traffic and 392 in the U.S. The above sure is something worth your time of thinking long and hard on don't you think?

   

Facebook sure is mighty fine for building a community presence on and it does not put up with folks being Bullies. Its sure also mighty fine for reaching a wide range of a network as one possible can. It has been said its losing some traction at less among the younger Internet users out there. But folks here is something which you might want to take into account, 70 percent of the adults in Internetland actively uses Facebook as their number one Social Media Site. How about this, not only does it has the most users, it's also remains as the most visited Social Media Site in Internetland.

Here is one more thing for you to think about, most all the other Social Media Sites even set up a Facebook page of themselves. That sure should say Facebook is a site one wants to be and be active on!

The most up and coming site which is Pinterest, its sure mighty good for those folks and highly visual professionals which want to express themselves with images. Folks the site sure can also work mighty fine in areas which you might not have considered when you first started thinking out using it. (Don't ever be afraid to take time in-order to think outside the box!)

 

Think about the folks you want to become your audience and followers, along with their interest. Use Pinterest and the other Social Media Sites which you join to inspire and inform folks and you'll sure be able to create real engagement. Are you up for doing that? I think you are and believe in you!

Next up is Twitter, if you are wanting to reach the audience of both women and men, its also a mighty appealing site to folks which are information junkies. Just like Facebook, Twitter is more effective when you respond and engage with your followers and when your followers do the some.

Folks there are three main keys to follow in-order for you to be successful with using Social Media! give folks a mixture of content to visit. You content can be totally original, local info or info with you have collected from news or another source which you fully trust. When it comes to Social Media its sure best to give your followers new content on a regular bases. The next is to take the time to engage with the folks which have taken time to visit you and with others on the site as will.

Be sure to make your Social Media experience to be enjoyable by both you and your followers and those folks which stop by from time to time! I do hope you have found the above information to have been easy to understand and that it will be helpful to you!
