Blood Drive Scheduled to be held at the Springfield VFW in Springfield Vermont, folks come attend and show your support for this here blood drive at the VFW. Take a moment to think about how it would feel if you or a family member was needing some blood, and the blood was not there. Blood donations have been down all across our Great Country. Please do your part to help.

On Wednesday the 25th of April this American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at the Robert L. Johnson VFW Post 771 which located at 191 River Street #1 in Springfield, Vermont. This here blood drive will be held between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. All blood types sure are critically needed to help save lives.





Blood Drive Scheduled to be held at the Springfield VFW in Springfield Vermont, donors must be at least 17 years of age and weigh at least 110 pounds. All folks that do donate blood will receive a coupon for a Free six inch Subway sandwich. Folks that wish to make an appointment can do so by either call RED-CROSS or by clicking here to visit www.redcrossblood.org Folks sure are more than welcome to just walk-in to donate to the Blood Drive.

 Job Fair will be taking place in Claremont New Hampshire, folks have you been looking for a job, been wanting to change jobs for one reason or another, or maybe you are needing a second job because of the economy. Then be sure to click on my blog post to read about this here up coming Job Fair.

On Wednesday the 25th of April 2012 the 7th Annual River Valley Job Fair and Student Transfer Day will be held at the River Valley Community College. This here Job Fair is scheduled to be held between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M., and is being sponsored by the City of Claremont, the River Valley Community College, the Southwest Community Services and the New Hampshire Employment Security.

 Rummage Sales being held in Communities of Southwestern New Hampshire, folks load up your vehicle, get ready, get set and go to attend some mighty fine Rummage Sales being held in our area.

On Saturday the 21st of April 2012 there will be Rummage Sales held in four of the communities which help to make up the Southwestern part of New Hampshire. Below is a list of the communities and times the Rummage Sales will be held.




In Acworth, New Hampshire the Female Charitable Society of the United Church of Acworth will be holding their Springfield Rummage Sale which will be held at the Church on the Hill, which is also known as the Acworth Meetinghouse between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. The Church on the Hill is located at the end of the Town Common in Actworth, New Hampshire. The Church on the Hill is an Historic Church which was build back in 1821 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in the year of 1975. The Female Charitable Society will be selling Clothing, Household items and White Elephants.




Rummage Sales being held in Communities of Southwestern New Hampshire, in Charlestown, New Hampshire there will an Indoor Rummage and Bake Sale held at the Charlestown Senior Center, which is located at 223 Old Springfield Road in Charlestown, New Hampshire. This event will be held between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.

In Sunapee, New Hampshire the U.M.W. will be holding a Rummage Sale in the Community Room of the Lake Sunapee Methodist Church, which is located at 15 Main Street in Sunapee, New Hampshire. For more information, folks are ask to please call the Church at 603-763-4301 or 603-763-9480




Rummage Sales to be held in Communities of Southwestern New Hampshire, in Walpole, New Hampshire a Spring Rummage and Food Sale will be held at the First Congregational Church, which is located at 15 Washington Street in Walpole, New Hampshire. This here combined Rummage and Food Sale will be held between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. The Rummage Sale part will be featuring gently worn Spring and Summer Clothing and Household items. The Food Sale part will include a variety of different kinds of Baked Goods. A $1.00 bag sale will begin at Noon.

 Compass School Students are presenting a Film Festival this evening in Westminster Vermont, folks come to show your support of this mighty fine young folks, and to have a mighty enjoyable time. 

This evening of Thursday the 19th of April 2012 Compass School is holding its 8th Annual Student Film Festival, which is scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M. Compass School is located at 7892 US Route 5 in Westminster, Vermont, which is just South of Bellows Falls, Vermont. A dozen of the 11th and 12th graders attending the Compass School have spent the past six weeks studying different films, writing screenplays, and have produced their own short films for folks to enjoy watching.




Compass School Students are presenting a Film Festival this evening in Westminster Vermont, the low low admission to enjoy their mighty fine Film Festival is only a suggested $3.00 donation. That sure is not a lot for folks to be able to show their support to these mighty fine young folks for the work they have put into and to present their Film Festival, for folks to enjoy.

 Benefit Jam taking place in Chester Vermont, folks come on out to attend and enjoy, plus to show your support.

On Sunday the 15th of April 2012 this here Big Benefit Jam is scheduled to begin at 1:00 P.M. This here event is going to be held at Gassetts Grange Hall, which is located on Vermont Route 103 North in Chester, Vermont. The proceeds will benefit the Vermont Farm Disaster Relief Fund. Folks from all around the area sure are welcome to come and attend this here Benefit Jam.

Benefit Jam taking place in Chester Vermont, folks will get to enjoy listening to live music, the house band Green Mountain Express. There will be refreshments to enjoy, raffles, plus a 50/50 drawing. Folks will get to enjoy all that for the low price of only a $5.00 donation. So please come on out and show your support for the Farmers.

 School House Program to be held in Ascutney Vermont, have you attended or wondered what it was like to attend a one room School? folks come on out to enjoy a mighty fine program for folks to enjoy.

On Sunday the 15th of April 2012, Weathersfield, Vermont residents that attended a One Room School House will share their members of attending. This here program is scheduled to begin at 2:00 P.M. The program will be taking place at Martin Memorial Hall, which is located at 5259 Route 5 in Ascutney, Vermont.

 Dinner Theater The Ghost of Jeb Taylor in Bellows Falls Vermont, folks come on out to enjoy a mighty fine meal and dinner theater and to help give your support for a mighty fine cause.

Set your mind to going back around 150 years ago or so, back then no one mourned the passing of miser Jeb Taylor. That is no one except the Sheriff, which never solved Jeb Taylor's murder. But now the Lawmaker has returned, plus along with the Ghosts of the folks that were near the scene of where the crime took place. This here is a Historic mystery which will be a progressive one. Enjoy a scene set up the premise and then the Ghosts giving their piece of the puzzle. The clothing will reflect the time period of the Murder of Jeb Taylor. This here Murder Mystery was originally written by Eileen Moushey.




Dinner Theater The Ghost of Jeb Taylor in Bellows Falls Vermont, this evening of Friday the 13th of April 2012 the Bellows Falls Union High School Drama Club will be presenting their Annual Dinner Theater The Ghost of Jeb Taylor, which not will only be featuring the mighty fine Theater production of The Ghost of Jeb Taylor, folks will also get to enjoy a mighty fine meal by attending. This mighty fine event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 P.M. and will be held in the Bellows Falls Union High School cafeteria.

The dinner meal will include, Chicken Parmesan, Salad, Garlic Bread, to drink there will be mighty fine Sparkling Lemonade, plus there will be a mighty tasty Dessert to enjoy. All proceeds from this here event will go to support the Dramatic Performance's field trip they will be taking to New York City this Spring. Tickets are only $16.00 for each attendee, folks can get their tickets for the Mystery Dinner Theater The Ghost of Jeb Taylor by calling the Bellows Falls Union High School at 802-463-3944, ext. 248.
