A bit of background on the Kurn Hattin School, since the 18th of August 1894 the Kurn Hattin School has helped thousands of at-risk children and their families by offering a safe home and quality education in a nurturing environment. Kurn Hattin Homes serves at-risk boys and girls from families throughout the Northeast area which are affected by tragedy and social or economic hardship. Kurn Hattin is a charitable, year-round residential school with more than 100 years of service to children in need and their families. Approximately ninety percent of the children, ages six through fifteen, are placed at Kurn Hattin by their families who, for whatever reason, are unable to keep their children at home.
GFGFCC Community Supper and Conversation being held in Westminster Vermont, the Students live in cottages with nine or ten other Students of their age group and one houseparent. Each cottage provides a comfortable family-style atmosphere with two or three children in a bedroom. Houseparents help provide the structure and support that each child needs to succeed. Kurn Hattin School is a state-approved School for grades one through eight, which provides a challenging academic environment.
Admission is available year-round and is based on a child's potential to benefit from a structured and supportive residential and educational program. Thanks to the generous financial support of Kurn Hattin School's donors, the admission does not depend on a family's ability to pay.
Have a good one
